Tranquility - Staying centered in the midst of chaos.

Understanding - Paying attention to oneself, to the one cared for, and to your reason for being a caregiver.

Detachment - letting go of your own agenda, of what you want it to be, of a specific outcome.

Engagement - Interacting with what is, rather than attempting to control it.

Simplicity - Interacting with what is, rather than attempting to control it.
