Compassion - A foundation of being friendly toward oneself upon which you can become friendly to all others
At-one-ment - A way of looking at what brings together, not what divides, non-judgmental.
Righteousness - Having right relationships with Spirit, Self, and Others.
In-tune-with - Listening to the emotional state of the one cared for, particularly to the level of pain.
Tranquility - Staying centered in the midst of chaos.
Understanding - Paying attention to oneself, to the one cared for, and to your reason for being a caregiver.
Detachment - letting go of your own agenda, of what you want it to be, of a specific outcome.
Engagement - Interacting with what is, rather than attempting to control it.
